Privacy
NuPrint has no account, no ads and no tracking. It talks to your printer and, only when you ask, to GitHub.
What the app keeps
Everything NuPrint saves stays on your computer:
- the printers you save, with their Bluetooth names and addresses and any settings you change;
- your print queue and history, with a preview image of each job, for 30 days or until you remove the job;
- your choices, such as the theme and accent colour;
- a short activity log, used by the diagnostics report.
NuPrint doesn't keep the text you type or PDF passwords with a job. Uninstalling a copy from the Microsoft Store removes its saved printers and queue.
What the app sends
NuPrint sends what you print to your printer over Bluetooth, and nothing anywhere else, with one exception: when you press Check for updates, or turn on the check at start, it asks GitHub, where NuPrint is published, for the newest release. That request carries nothing about you, your printers or your documents. A copy installed from the Microsoft Store never makes it: the Store updates that copy.
Settings → Diagnostics can save a report as a file for you to attach to a bug report. Printer names and addresses are left out unless you choose to include them, and NuPrint never uploads the report or your documents.
